The ZEN-CCT-W installs at the load end — inside a Inline with CCT-tunable LED strip · Cove driver. It receives commands wirelessly and switches/dims the connected light, fan, LED strip or appliance accordingly. The compact form factor lets it hide inside existing electrical boxes without changing the look of your wall plate.

Do I control the ZEN-CCT-W with my phone or with a wall switch?

Both — and voice. The controller has WiFi 2.4GHz for the Prime Zen smartphone app and voice assistants (Alexa & Google Assistant), plus RF 433MHz to pair directly with up to 10 Prime Zen wireless switches per channel. Use whichever you prefer, or all three.

Do I need a Prime Zen wireless switch to use this controller?

Not necessarily — the controller works standalone via WiFi (app + voice). The wireless switches are optional but add a physical-button option without rewiring.
