A quick buyer's guide

How to pick the right one.

The things to think about when choosing the right model for your project — from weatherproofing to beam angle to how it gets mounted.

  1. 01 DC24V variants for safer low-voltage runs — needs a remote driver, but ideal near pools and water features
  2. 02 AC220V variants for direct mains hookup — no transformer required, faster install in standard pole + ground configurations
  3. 03 IP67 variants for fully exposed or immersion-prone installs — sprinkler zones, planter beds, low-lying landscape pockets
  4. 04 Stainless steel (SS / SS 316) bodies for marine and coastal projects; graphite-grey die-cast aluminium for inland sites
  5. 05 Beam angle 10°–30° for sharp ground accent; 90°–120° for ambient path wash

What's standard across the range

Built-in quality features.

  • Stainless steel (SS / SS 316) or graphite-grey die-cast aluminium body
  • CREE / OSRAM LED engines, 3000K / 4000K factory-set CCT
  • IP65 minimum on DC24V and AC220V variants; IP67 on the sealed range
  • Compact cut-out diameters (Ø13mm–Ø125mm) for narrow path edges and planter rims

FAQs

Common buyer questions.

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often about this range.

When should I specify DC24V vs AC220V path lights?

DC24V is the safer low-voltage option near pools, water features and wet-foot landscape zones — but it requires a remote driver. AC220V is faster to install where you already have mains conduit (pole-mounted heads, courtyard walls), with no transformer in the BOQ. IP67 variants serve as the high-water-exposure option for either voltage.

What cut-out diameters do these need?

Compact units (HLO-6750 family) need only Ø13–Ø56mm; medium units (HLO-6823–6825) Ø60–Ø95mm; deeper recessed installs (HLO-6826 and IP67 range) up to Ø125mm. Confirm cut-out per model at spec stage.

Will these survive sprinkler or monsoon exposure?

IP65 variants are sealed against driven rain (DC24V + AC220V); IP67 variants are sealed for temporary immersion — suitable for sprinkler-zone planters and low-lying landscape pockets that pond. For permanent submersion (pool floors), specify from [Underwater Concealed](outdoor-underwater-concealed-lights) instead.

Are drivers included?

DC24V variants ship WITHOUT DRIVER — a remote 24V DC driver is required (size to the total connected load). AC220V variants are direct-mains. IP67 variants are mixed — confirm at spec stage and budget for an external driver if applicable.
