The rules of working together.

These terms govern your use of brightideas.in and any consultation, supply or installation service we provide. Reading them once saves both of us back-and-forth later.

1. About these terms

By using brightideas.in or engaging Bright Ideas Lighting Solutions for any consultation, supply, design or installation work, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or the services.

2. About us

Bright Ideas Lighting Solutions is an Ahmedabad-based architectural lighting partner operating from 111, First Floor, The Grand Monarch, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380015, India. We are the authorised exclusive project dealer in Gujarat for Hybec and an authorised channel partner for Sensinova, IRO, Prime Zen, SR LED Lights and Infine8.

3. Use of this website

  • All content on brightideas.in — images, text, logos, product specifications, design renderings — is owned by Bright Ideas or our brand partners and is protected by copyright.
  • You may view, download and print content for personal, non-commercial reference (project planning, BOQ preparation). Re-publication or redistribution requires our written permission.
  • You agree not to use the site to harvest data, attempt unauthorised access, post unlawful content, or interfere with normal site operation.

4. Lighting consultation

Bright Ideas offers a project consultation (curated multi-brand product shortlist, project-ready BOQ, datasheets and IES files on request) for serious projects with a defined brief. Eligibility is at our discretion. The deliverables are advisory and intended to inform specification — final design decisions remain with the architect, designer or homeowner. Bright Ideas does not provide lighting design or 3D rendering services.

5. Quotations and BOQs

  • All quotations and BOQs are valid for 30 days from issue unless stated otherwise.
  • Pricing is exclusive of GST unless explicitly stated as "GST inclusive".
  • Stock and lead times are indicative and subject to availability from our brand partners at the time the order is confirmed.

6. Orders, payments and delivery

  • Orders are confirmed only on receipt of a written purchase order or signed BOQ acceptance and the agreed advance payment (typically 50% on order, balance on dispatch).
  • Once confirmed, special-order or imported items cannot be cancelled or returned unless faulty.
  • Standard delivery is ex-Ahmedabad. PAN-India dispatch is available; transit, freight and insurance are charged extra unless quoted otherwise.
  • Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title remains with Bright Ideas until full payment is received.

7. Warranty

All products are covered by the original manufacturer's warranty (typically 2 to 5 years depending on the brand and SKU). Warranty claims must be raised within the valid period and are subject to the manufacturer's terms. Bright Ideas coordinates warranty claims on your behalf but is not the warranty provider.

8. Installation

Installation, when contracted separately, is delivered by Bright Ideas-appointed technicians or by site contractors under our supervision. The site must be ready (electrical conduits, ceiling cutouts, finished surfaces) at the time of installation. Re-visits caused by site readiness issues are chargeable.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bright Ideas's liability for any claim arising out of the supply of goods or services is limited to the invoiced value of the goods or services giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of profit, business interruption or contractor delay claims.

10. Force majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control — including natural disasters, transport strikes, government action, customs delays or supply-chain disruption from our brand partners.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a revised "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site or services after updates implies acceptance.
