How do I choose a beam angle for the Crompton Aura?
Match the beam to the throw distance: narrow (10°–30°) for long throws onto tall facades or distant areas, and wide (60°) for general area lighting close to the fitting. The beam angle is part of the catalogue reference where options exist.
Does the Crompton Aura include surge protection?
Many Crompton floodlights include a 10 kV surge protection device; on some models it is ordered separately. The product description above states which applies.
Can the Crompton Aura be used for sports courts?
Yes, for recreational courts and small grounds. For larger grounds and competition levels, look at the dedicated sports range, which offers narrower beams and higher wattages.
Are IES files available?
Yes. Photometric files are available on request for DIALux or Relux simulation by your lighting consultant, or by our team as part of a consultation.
